Jeffrey D. Witt

Jeff Witt is honored to join Confluence as its new Artistic Director in 2025, bringing with him a lifelong passion for music, theatre, and community.

 

From 2001 to 2022, Jeff served as the Choir, Drama, and Activities Director at Central High School, where he inspired generations of students through the performing arts.
 

Currently, Jeff is an insurance agent representing American National Insurance and continues to nurture his love for music as the Director of Music at First United Methodist Church. A lifelong member of Pentacle Theatre, Jeff has appeared in over 50 productions. Notable roles include Jean Valjean in Les Misérables, Angel in Rent, Archibald Craven in The Secret Garden, Igor in Young Frankenstein, and most recently, Edward Bloom in Big Fish.
 

Jeff lives in Monmouth, Oregon with his husband, Jon Stuber. Together, they enjoy exploring Saturday markets, antique shopping, and tending to their garden. Jeff is thrilled to embark on this new chapter with Confluence, bringing people together through powerful and joyful musical experiences.

Our Interim
Principal Accompanist 

Jon Stuber

Jon Stuber holds a Bachelor of Music from Baylor University and both a Master and Doctor of Musical Arts from the University of Texas at Austin. He has served on the music faculties of Lewis & Clark College and the University of Portland.
 

Active in the theatre community, Jon has music-directed numerous productions at Pentacle Theatre, including Big Fish, Footloose, The Great American Trailer Park Musical, Cabaret, Jesus Christ Superstar, Urinetown, and The Addams Family.

 

As a performer, he has appeared with Resonance Ensemble, Consonare Chorale, Portland Vocal Consort, Columbia Chorale,
and the Columbia Symphony Orchestra.
During his doctoral studies, he made his European debut at Truro Cathedral in Cornwall, England.
 

By day, Jon works as an Account Manager for Employee Benefits at Alliant Insurance Services. He is incredibly excited to begin his collaboration with Confluence Chorus!
